Art and Design at Our School

At our school, Art and Design nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence. We believe every child is an artist, and our curriculum provides rich opportunities for pupils to explore ideas, experiment with materials, and develop their own unique artistic voice.

Through studying a wide range of artists, designers, and craft makers, children gain inspiration from diverse cultures, historical periods, and artistic traditions. They learn key techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art, building skills progressively as they move through the school.

Practical, hands-on learning encourages children to take risks, solve problems, and reflect on their work. We celebrate originality, imagination, and the joy of creating, helping pupils to develop resilience as they refine and improve their art.
