Music Statement

At our school, music is a vital part of school life and an important means of creativity, expression, and connection. We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience, enjoy, and participate in music, regardless of prior experience or ability.

Through singing, performing, composing, listening, and exploring a wide range of musical styles and cultures, pupils develop confidence, discipline, collaboration, and self-expression. Our music curriculum encourages curiosity and creativity while building essential musical skills and appreciation.

We aim to inspire a lifelong love of music by providing engaging lessons, performance opportunities, and experiences that nurture talent and encourage participation. Music enriches our school community, celebrates diversity, and supports the personal development and wellbeing of every pupil.
